...And Still… is a San Francisco Bay Area performing group exploring the realms of physical theatre and post-modern dance as the basis of its work.

...And Still… grew from …And Still Dancing a group formed in 2003 as a performing company for modern dancers and choreographers who had passed the threshhold age of forty. The company was praised for its many Bay Area performances, including regular seasons at the ODC Theatre in San Francisco. The company’s work began expanding to include a number of physical theatre pieces in its choreographic repertory. As a result, the “Dancing” portion of the group’s name was regarded as too constraining.

The new name ...And Still… encompasses both physical theatre works, experimental theatre, and a wide range of modern dance. The group’s concept has also expanded to include performers of all ages.
“The original name,” Artistic Director David explains, “was meant to imply, ‘Over forty, been through a lot …And Still Dancing.’ The new name, ...And Still… which both begins and ends with an ellipsis, says simply, ‘still here and still doing my art.’ There is no age restriction on that spirit.
